Big Willys Lakehouse

We had our wedding reception on the deck under the awning. We ordered beef tips and gravy, corn, mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, salad, rolls, and garlic bread. Our family went on and on about the beef tips and we were all impressed with the REAL mashed potatoes! The kids quickly went back for second helpings of spaghetti and meatballs. The food was great! I was impressed with the organization and attention to detail Amy provided. Sylvia was our waitress and bartender and she never missed a beat. I highly recommend having your event here. Especially outside on the deck. A nice view of the lake makes it relaxing.

Delicious food, big servings, casual atmosphere, tastey beverages, what more could you ask? Looking online I thought the prices were high until I got the 2 meals worth plate of catfish. The mac-n-cheese is a great side. The fries are an interesting steak-long cut crinkle-seasoned fry hybrid that was better than I expected. The potato skins appetizer was just shy of two big bakers... it was "skins" and then some... we took half the order and the horseradish dipping sauce home. I'll go back for sure.

Big Willy's was a big win for us! We were visiting from Northwest Indiana and stopped after a google search. The portabello fries were delicious. I had the ribeye sandwich with sauteed mushrooms and onions and my husband had the catfish both of which were excellent! We felt that the prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

We had a great dinner date here!! beautiful atmosphere, lighting & decor!! The food was amazing, to die for actually, best out to eat experience I've had in long time. Thank you & we will be back soon 5 stars!!

Family friendly.. Good food.. Great service. Building windows and outside deck faces out to a secluded view of woods and small lake. Beautiful.
