“We have driven by this restaurant for years and often commented that we should try it some time. Last night was that time and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 7:00 PM and were seated immediately. My wife had the half order of ribs, onion rings and a salad. She said the ribs were delicious. The onion rings are definitely worth ordering. They were lightly battered, thin, crispy and delicious. I had the Sirloin steak, waffle fries and salad. The steak was very good as were the fries. The salads were better than you get at Longhorn's in Lafayette, but that's not saying much, thus the reduction of one star.The service was prompt and efficient. I would definitely recommend and we will be going back again.”

“My first visit here, and it was great. Portion size was generous. The waiters were prompt and friendly. The atmosphere shouts "small town coffee shop", which I like. I never did see a sign out front, and it was pre-dawn, but my GPS found it. The menu is extensive. Good food, good value. Recommended.”

“I just had a wonderful breakfast here with my friend. This was the first time I had ever been here. When we drove up, we had inhibitions about the place because it looked like a house. We decided to go in because there were so many customers there already. I had the bacon breakfast special. My friend had the cheese omelette. It was so delicious, and very hot. I was shocked how cheap it was. I paid about 7.00 for mine.”

“This place has great food and service. Prices are affordable. You can order off the entire menu morning or afternoon. I had the beef pot roast which was freshly made and delicious. The meat was tender. The mashed potatoes are real. My friend had the western omelette and it was loaded with cubes of ham and veggies. The upgrade for hash browns were worth it. They had the perfect crisp and flavor. The have fresh baked goods that run out! Cookies, cinnamon rolls, and pies.”

It is like a deconstructed salad on a plate with tortilla chips on the side. It is a good alternative for me. “Everything was great from the time I walked through the door and was friendly greeted by the waiting staff. I sat myself at the bar and was taken great care of by the waitress working the bar. The 8oz top sirloin was a little over cooked but still great and the additional mushrooms was served cold as if they was tossed on last minute. My sides of choice was the salad and bake potato. The salad had a spring cucumber type flavor and came in a nice size portion both great things in my opinion. There was nothing bad to say about the bake potato. It came with butter and sour cream. So with a little salt and pepper, you’re good to go. Over all this is a very nice restaurant for an evening meal and I would definitely recommend dining here regularly if you’re staying in town.”

“I can honestly say that I have been to this restaurant several times already since I’ve been in town and it is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The service is always up front, fast and friendly. Find yourself a seat and enjoy some awesome salsa and cheese dip, if you opted for it off their large menu, while you wait for your food. So far, every visit I’ve had here, it never takes long for your food to arrive hot and fresh. Some plates are still sizzling as they arrive to your table. The food has always been great. Also, on Tuesdays they have $1 tacos, that are worth every penny!”

“Decent fried chicken served inside the Clark gas station on St Rd 28 W about a mile outside of Frankfort. The chicken strips were good size and tender but the sides were lacking. I had the macaroni and cheese and it was very watery with little cheese or flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy would have been ok if there was more than a drizzle of gravy.”
