Maverick's Firewater Grill - Sports Bar - Craft Beer - Wings

We four diners sought good food and a place to have conversation. We found both at Mavericks at a corner booth. The two of us snowbirds who have been traveling up from Naples and visiting relatives here were happy with this restaurant. It was not at all crowded on a Monday evening at 7pm. No cring or yelling kids in the dining area and no blaring music.... both of which we too often find elsewhere. We will likely return next fall while passing through.

Food was good, service was fast & very nice. We ordered Fried Pickles for entree. Hubby had the Old Western Wrap (he tried it before & really likes it) I had the Cod Sandwich, & Saratoga Chips (instead of fries) it was a good size piece of Cod! They don't rush you, so you can relax & enjoy your food. "Old Western" atmosphere. We love this place!

Food had great flavor but was barely more than room temperature. We had a larger party so we didn't complain and they were pretty busy. Our server was really nice and attentive. Overall it was good and no complaints except the food seemed to be sitting under a warmer for more time than desired.

I love this place. The food is great, along with staff. I typically sit in the bar area because I like how lively it is and the overall energy there, plus the bar tender at night is very nice and social. However, I have also sat in the family area, and it is VERY nice as well. Especially if you are going for a more quiet or intimate setting. Prices are good, and I honestly would probably pay more for most of the items on the menu. Wait staff is great as well. Just overall a wonderful place to visit.
