Vera Mae's Bistro

Stopped in from out of town. Carlos was our bartender and he was fabulous. Drinks were great! Highly recommended.

Never been there, before. My friend wanted to eat there. I loved the turkey dish I chose for lunch. I would not order the fresh fruit side, again. Served too green, no flavor. Coffee was great!

I really like the clean but vintage look of Vera Mae's. Modern comfort in a nostalgic environment is very appealing. Our host and server were excellent and very pleasant. Steaks were cooked exactly to request. People in our party also raved about the fish and chicken selections. I was a little puzzled at how they ran out of the days vegetable by 630, but fortunately the substitution was acceptable. Plenty of on street parking in the area.

The place is charming and the server did a great job with timing our food. The food was delicious and the balsamic dressing was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. I wished I had more salad for it!

There wasn't much of a crowd on a Tuesday so it was a relatively quiet place to meet for lunch. The prices aren't too high considering the taste and freshness of the food. Parking was ample for the time I visited.

Next time I'll have to try the bread pudding!

I loved this place! I had heard this place was good but expensive, and honestly it was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was superb. My dad and I got the crab artichoke dip... Best appetizer I have ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone. And they have great service!
