Roots Burger Bar

Mouthwatering juicy burgers and the fries are to die for! Great prices and wonderful sporty environment! Great staff! First time and won't be my last!

First time visit was a Saturday evening. First impressions; restaurant is clean, bright, busy, but not crowded or overly noisy. Air of a fun place. Glancing around I saw couples, small groups, families, and a couple older gentlemen at the bar. Says that this is a place for everyone.
We were seated quickly and I appreciated the staff trying to make sure my son on crutches was comfortable. Claire was our waitress. She was right there for the drink order and she checked on us several times even after we received our food. I've worked a number of years in food service and in my opinion she did a great job.
Food was delicious, we each ordered different style burgers and sides. A warning to folks eating there, good burgers like these can be messy. I think all three burgers (all doubles) suffered structural failure at some point while being eaten. There was that much lean, juicy meat. Just means you may need a fork to eat it all.
I'd love to give some pointers to the bartender, but this is not the place for it. She was doing a fine job, but I could see areas for improvement. Little things that come with years of experience.(I've been tending bar more years than she is old.)
Although I miss the previous establishment, I really liked what I saw and we will definitely be back.

Really good food and the deals they have are awesome and underrated. Pint of any craft brew for $3 on Thursdays is nice, and buy 1 get 1 order of wings on Monday is fire. If you can handle the spice, Nashville hot boneless wings are great with blue cheese. The Cajun Bleu Bird is an awesome chicken sandwich as well. Manager is always around and attentive. Bar staff are also really polite and make great conversation. Looking forward to recommending Roots as a “go to” spot in town.

Roots is about perfect. Great service and wonderful food at reasonable prices. Menu has more than enough variety, yet is not overwhelming. Plenty of great beers on tap.

We just ate here for the first time. The food was great. The service was amazing. The owners visited our table twice and made us feel like regular customers. We can't wait to go back.
