Tucker's American Favorites

Really nice place. Comfortable booths. Start out with some black bread and sweet butter. Had the sour rolls appetizer, which was a first. Very good. And had the hamburger steak which had onions, peppers, and cheese, along with a salad and onion rings. Needless to say brought some home. Wife had sirloin cooked to perfection. Sadly no veterans discount so no 5 star.

The manager was nice and took my meal off, the steak was medium well but was unable to cut it, broccoli was mush and hard stems. The server was excellent. Meatloaf was ok it was more like a meat pate, chop steak with pepper and onion was ok as well but had more of an onion flavor than anything. May give it another try and just order something different.

Our server was great, friendly and attentive. Wonderful family place with plenty of TVs and the food is delicious.

My wife and I had dinner at Tucker's on a Friday evening. It was very busy. But, we were seated very quickly and our waitress was very friendly and efficient. The area of the restaurant where we were seated seemed like a sports bar with lots of big screen HDTV's tuned to sports. I ordered a half slab of ribs. It was a decent portion. It tasted great. My wife was generally happy with her meal. But, she wouldn't recommend the green beans. They weren't to her tastes. Tucker's has a great selection of craft beers on tap. The wine by the glass is decent. Overall, we will go back again.
