Went to eat here a few weeks ago and had an awesome experience! Such nice people who genuinely cared about our experience. They gave us free garlic bread (which is soo good) and even sent us home with some more! I got the deep dish and it was delicious - come hungry!! My boyfriend got the regular pan pizza and that was just as good. The sauce is so yummy and doesn’t taste like anyone else’s. Definitely going back for the steak meal, which a lady nearby ordered and said it was genuinely the best steak she ever had. Can’t wait to go back and try more! ????
I had the steak & fresh asparagus, both were cooked to protection & ON POINT delicious! My husband had the mini deep dish & he said it was the best authentic chicago style he had ever had! The customer service was incredible & super friendly! We will be going there many times in the future! 5⭐across the board!
Recommend this restaurant. We met the owner, John earlier this year at a steak house where he was our waiter. He told us that he would be opening up his restaurant later in the year. My husband John saw they were finally open, and stopped by. We were provided free of charge bread sticks when we were seated. Then we tried the cheese pesto appetizer, which was also delicious. Then came our pizza--sausage and pepperoni which was one of the top pizzas that we have had in the "Kentuckiana" region. Both my husband and I are from the East Coast, and are used to a certain type of pizza, and this ranks up there. We took leftovers home with us, and heated them up for dinner the next night. The food re-heats well.
Some months ago, my wife and I met John, one of the owners, at a local restaurant where he was waiting tables. He told us of his dream of opening his own pizza restaurant. We told him we'd keep an eye out for it.
Fast forward to this past Saturday (9/27) and we were finally able to taste John's, and our, dream come true. This pizza is amazing! It's as close as you'll come to the Chicago deep-dish in the area. It tangles with the like of Giordano's. Really. We had the 6" pie and, like a previous reviewer, and it was plenty for us. The free garlic bread was scrumptious and the house-made dressings (I had the Italian and my wife had the bleu cheese) were wonderful.
We're looking forward to bring friends along to share this great experience. We definitely recommend it.
I'm certianly not used to a Chicago deep dish but the wait was worth it. Very unique pizza and made by some of those that ran Mamas Pizza.
Come give them some love. This place could really be successful with our help.
A 6" looks like plenty for a couple. A family can do well with a 12".
It's a really dense pizza. I'm gonna try a thin crust next time.
I really look forward to seeing what they will grow with.
