Streamliner Family Restaurant

The Streamliner is a nice family restaurant in Rochester that's been around since before I was a kid. Order a chocolate Coke or a suicide to drink, and try the ultimate tenderloin or the Top Choice prime rib sandwich, two of my favorites. If you order the Top Choice sandwich, just get the sandwich and order platter items ala carte--the individual items cost less than the extra $7 they charge for the platter that's only $4 with other sandwiches.

Good food medium pricing excellent service. Sandwich platters seem to be the best value.

The service was wonderful. Tough work with the large crew we brought in. The majority of the food was not fresh. Something they got out of a large bag in the freezer. The burger meat was very good. The mushrooms were canned. Yikes! The Swiss cheese was a processed brand you pull the plastic film. No holes in this cheese. The fried mushrooms were pretty good.

This is a wonderful place to eat for your family. The waiters and waitresses are very helpful and patient. The food is very original, it gives a homey, 20th century feel.
