Flying J Travel Center

Typical PFJ. Store and ladies took was clean. Dropped 2 stars for bad customer service. I was standing in line and there was 2 cashiers. One was helping a customer and the other was laughing with other staff. She never said next in line or I'm open, etc. Some guy rushes past me and sets his stuff on her counter and she waits on him. She never said anything about him not being next in line. Her name is Rita with the bad teeth. Typical PFJ in the regard that they have poor customer service.

Everything you need if you're traveling though. IWU is in town so if you are a parent of a student this is a great place to fill the gas tank before leaving town. Also a great quick stop for most anything, including a shower! Sometimes a quick shower on an all day drive is exactly what you need. Coffee is good, drink selection is excellent, and snack variety is more than adequate.

As far as gas stations in travel centers go this is one of the best. Nice clean bathrooms. There's a lot of food choices and if you're lucky enough to get there on a day they have chicken pot pie soup you need to get it. Unfortunately they don't always have their soup replenished.

Had to pick up a Western Union but had to make an additional call to WU to get ANOTHER number they wanted at the Flying J Travel Center. The gentleman then left the area and it took a very long time for him to return, they paged him, then finally 1 of their cashier's went and physically found him so he could finish helping me because I guess no one else could. After he finally came back, the rest of my transaction went rather quick.
