I don't really know where to start with this place. Guess a pros and cons list will do.

    Pros
    Pizza was OK.

Chicken strips and fries were really good, you could taste that the grease was fresh.

Wings were super good, I loved the sauce on the "Buffalo" bone out wings.

I love restaurants that serve pizza and chicken strips/nuggets. When I ask what everyone wants for dinner, one child chooses one and the other chooses the other and it's nice to not have to listen to any complaining when we get the chance to go out.

Facebook page is somewhat impressive, won't lie that's what brought me in to try Kay's under the new management.

    Cons
Pizza was OK. Was not a fan of the sauce (although it may be traditional Kay's, it's been about ten years since I've eaten here). There was far less cheese on the pizza than I remember there being the only other time I've eaten it. Again, that was ten years ago. Also, was not cut all the way to the edges. The tiny corner square pieces just shredded in my fingers as I tried to rip completely uncut pieces. Amateur hour for a PIZZA place.

Husband was annoyed at the wings. He said they were hot wings, not Buffalo wings and there's apparently an additional spice in hot wings. Anyways, they were pretty hot. I liked it, but he did not and was frustrated by the miscommunication.

Speaking of hot wings, service was awful. Husband finished off drink after eating a few of the incorrectly labeled wings but we never saw our waitress again after she took our order so it never got refilled for the rest of the meal. No one was very friendly or competent. We could see the owner cooking and touching receipts, counters, the phone etc., all without changing gloves. Why wasn't the phone ringing and being answered in back of the house? Dine in customers shouldn't have to hear it and shouldn't have to wait while the only person available is stuck on the phone.

It honestly seems like the new owners want to be good at what they're doing, maybe they just need more experience. The place looks a lot better from the dining area. They have the competition paying attention, they just need to pull it together. Hope that they do!
