My husband saw a Facebook post for a Valentine special and made reservations for us. The atmosphere was very pleasing. Our waiter, Tiny Tim was awesome. The food was amazing we especially loved the seared tuna appetizer and our steaks were perfectly seasoned and we could cut them with our butter knife they were so tender. We will definitely go back. Thanks for the amazing meal and service!
I was out to the grounds several times this fall and winter, good to see maintenance and housekeeping on going even during off season. Bob and Mike very friendly and knowledgeable about course and local area. I will definitely frequent this place.
Food was excellent. Service, not so much. Had reservations for our group. Took an hour to get menus, another hour to get food, and 45 minutes to get our bill. Seems EXTREMELY understaffed. Watched other large groups order food, get food, and leave before we even got our food. First time there for most of our group, probably the last for most of us unfortunately. What should have been a two hour adventure, turned into almost five hour adventure.
The food was outstanding, but there were some other issues, especially the bar tending. I would suggest sticking with wonder or beer if you would like an alcoholic beverage. They struggled with producing good mixed drinks. The oddest thing was that we were told they could not p properly make a lemon drop because they were out of simple syrup.... Sugar water??? You have a kitchen that probably could make it.. Lol.
The best kept secret in Marion, IN. Beautiful scenic views of the golf course and its rolling hills, comfortable seating, friendly staff as your starter apps. The fried chicken buffalo sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. If you're tired of the chain restaurant's flat-as-a-pancake chicken sandwich - you owe yourself a stop for a truly great meal in a great surrounding served by great people.
