First off, I ordered the Beef Lula wrap and it was EXCELLENT. HOWEVER, this is not a fast food truck...those are words directly from the guy running the place. I was the very first in line for lunch and it took 45 mins to get my food. Others in my group took up to 1hr 15min. I would definitely eat here again but definitely ORDER AHEAD on the website.
Not a typical food truck. Clean and delicious. Well seasoned and quality. DavAni Armenian BBQ does a really nice job and is a nice treat in a city full of restaurants that all serve mostly the same types of things. I had the grilled lamb chops (excellent), the grilled vegetable salad (definitely), grilled potatoes (yes please) and the rice pilaf (very nice). Highly recommended and look forward to returning.
In a town full of subpar pub food this tiny slice of flavor heaven rests in a small parking lot and represents the pinnacle Carmel cuisine culture. Go and eat this food. Eat all of it, even the red sauce and smashed vegetable sides, without fear or reservation. Everything that leaves through the window is delicious. I’ll post a picture next time. I was too busy eating to stop.
My family and I tried some meals shortly after they opened, and we were not disappointed. We ordered a whole grilled chicken, several kebabs (pork and beef) and some grilled potatoes. Everything was delicious! Extremely excited that Armenian food is now being served in Indiana.
Father and daughter make delicious food! My family has already tried pork and lamb shish kebabs, grilled potatoes and fantastic grilled salad! We ordered for a birthday and the party was a success, everyone was satisfied! Next time I will definitely take the kids a kebab wrapped in lavash bread and I want to try the beans!
