World famous Hotboys Carmel

Don't listen to people with reviews who are saying Canes is anywhere near the same level of experience in eating as Hotboys. I have eaten at both plenty, I would compare Canes to Hotboys as I would compare Burger King to 317Burger. Hotboys always has fresh well seasoned chicken and the sides are delicious. Having frequented multiple times since they opened the Carmel location as well as the original Indianapolis location in Fountain Square. Have never had a bad meal experience, and any issues with service has been handled with the utmost professionalism to resolve the issue.

Found this place on DoorDash. However, I HIGHLY recommend going in person. The food was amazing! We got the Guap fries, Mac fritters, & side of the etouffee. Everything was awesome! Etouffee needed a little salt, but other than that, no complaint. It was a little loud for me, but it was a Saturday night, so it was no big deal. Definitely recommend and definitely will be going back!

So, here's the deal. The people here are fantastic. Friendly, engaging they never let you feel like you're alone and that's a wonderful thing sometimes! I had the chicken and waffles and upgraded with chicken fingers they were huge. Spice was just right. There was plenty of Maple syrup and butter for the waffles. One of the best waffle and chicken meals I've had ever had. This is what I'll tell everybody that reads this, "GO THERE!" enjoy the nice bar that they have. Plenty of premium liquors, a good beer selection, but don't eat chicken the day before because chicken is on the menu, and they do a great job of it! Makayla, Grace and Jocelyn are great company and keep cold brew coming! The gentleman in charge was friendly checked to see if everything was alright and answered several questions about the restaurant. Aaron I found was absolutely great! He took the time to learn his customers and spent time with everyone.

Whoa. This place is awesome. First, everyone is extra friendly and helpful. So sweet, welcoming and kind. I had never been to HotBoys before so I got the chicken and waffles. I've had chicken and waffles at a LOT of places and DANG this lines up with the best. No cap. They are going to have fun things to do here in evenings so really looking forward to that as nightlife is D-E-A-D in this area. Excited to have some life in the neighborhood!! But mostly excited for this awesome food in a great atmosphere with legit service. They best get used to my face cause I aim to be here on the regular ⭐⭐👍👍

Food is amazing. Truly the best chicken sandwich I've had and chicken sandwiches are my go to at restaurants when available. So tender, perfect sauce and seasoning. I got the mild and it was sweet and spicy in the best way.

Service was great, food takes a little bit but its being freshly prepped so thats a plus.

Atmosphere is so cool and unique, its like a sports bar but not, love all the art and vibe they have going on there.

Will forsure be back and can't wait to come once it warms up to sit out on the big patio and have a beer too!
