Leisurely paced fine dining at its best. Exquisite food, exemplary service. $$$$ but worth the occasional splurge.

The Spouse and I just enjoyed what was undoubtedly one of the best meals of our lives.
A tasty variety of breads and house-churned butters. Exquisite hand crafted cocktails. Absolutely amazing starters and entrees. And scrumptious desserts.
Along with on-point, personable professional Service.
And all of that in a distinguished—yet warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It doesn’t get much better than that!
Very well done, Peterson’s.

As far as high-end steakhouses go I found it quite pedestrian.
The steaks salads and appetizers were adequate, the wait staff was friendly but seemingly untrained. The only Advantage I found they have over like priced steakhouses such as Mortons, Capital Grill, st. Elmo's Etc...
Was that I could actually have a conversation with my wife without having to raise my voice.

Peterson's is worth it. If you enjoy food cooked the way it is intended (not medium well) Peterson's had something for everyone. Scallops are amazing, filet is amazing, salmon great, crab delicious, best lobster bisque inland. Every time I've come here Coy has been my server and he's just the best. He knows when to talk to you and be friendly and he knows when you do not want to be disturbed. Always a great meal. One of the best attributes of this spot is the booths. You get your own private booth with walls separating you from other dinners or you can sit in the open area. Love it. Recommend it.

Absolutely 5 star high end steak house. We tried it on the Devour Indy menu, and it was awesome. The service and staff are very attentive, the decor is typical steakhouse dark with many tables having great privacy. The wine list is exceptional as well. They are very happy to answer any questions about the food or the wine. We recommend it and will return.
