    Heard so many people raving about this place I had to check it out for myself. I will say the food was delicious. I would recommend the Italian beef and also the chocolate cake...so good. Although the food was good, I took off 1 star simply because the place was pretty chaotic and it seemed like a few of their people were new since they forgot 2 things in our order and we had to go back up the the counter twice. Overall though...pretty good.

    This place is a must if you want a dog dragged through the garden. Their hot dogs and sausages are iconic and their italian beef is the best. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. If you want the best chocolate shake in the world you have to get the chocolate cake milkshake. It has a piece of actual chocolate cake mixed into the shake! Amazing place.

    Excellent food made-to-order. I especially love the Chocolate Cake Milkshake. Prices can be a bit steep, but with the quality and speed of service, I would say it's easily worth the cost, especially as a special occasion.

    Portillo's is easily the best hot dog I've ever had! It's very cheap place to eat and if you're not satisfied with just one, take one to go. The menu features other eats like burgers, pasta, salads and other sandwiches. If one is on the fence on what to get, get the original dog ( Chicago bun, beef hot dog with dill pickle, relish, chopped onions, tomatoes, mustard, and peppers are optional) they're about $3 a dog and if you want a sweet treat to go with it and a chocolate lover get w chocolate cake shake. The dog and the shake is probably the best $7 and change I've spent in a long time.

    Quick and delicious. Took a moment to figure out where to go to order since there are multiple counters with registers and trays and employees (there are small signs, but the order counter is completely out of sight to the right and around the corner).
    Classic hot dogs work super soft buns and tasty fries. I'll be back (and ordering at the right counter)
