Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I work there, love to shop there. Always a clearance corner 50-90% off. Food isn’t really expensive, nice atmosphere, most of the staff & servers are great. If a server’s apron says, rising star, (that means they’ve been there less than 30 days, or they are waiting for aprons with their name on it, so less than 60 days hired). Doesn’t always mean a bad experience, but be patient or ask for another server. 1-4 stars is max. However, I’ve been there over 5 years & only have 2 stars. You have to go in and do computer training & tests. & we get .05 cents/hour raise. So as long as it doesn’t say rising star, it doesn’t really tell you if they will be better if they have 1 or 4 stars. A lot of people wonder what the stars mean so just info FYI.

How can you beat the food and great atmosphere!! The only problem is I leave so full I can’t move because of the outstanding foods. Their dumplings are like my Grandmother used to make in the fifty’s when I was a kid. This is the only place that I can say are as good as she made well very close. It’s always hard to compare to Grandma’s but I will give them a blue ribbon!!????

One of the best cracker barrels in town! My family will no longer go to Bob Evans, they let us down for the last time with their service. But you can always count on cracker barrel to have good service. This one on 96th Street and fishers is one of my favorites. You can't go wrong

I went to place a carry out order, we ordered the fried catfish, grilled catfish and country fried steak. It was great! It took some time, naturally, so shopping the store was nice. Manager approached and asked to check on my food. He came back with it, explained what everything was and they got it all correct! I love this location!

I loved going to cracker barrel again, something that I haven't done since I was much younger. I was highly unimpressed with one thing involving sweet potatoes on my plate, but I chose not to say anything and our waitress was great! I loved the familiar chicken and dumplings and their mac and cheese was great! I adored my favored biscuits and apple butter too! I will absolutely be back!
