Frisch's Big Boy

Love getting up early and talking the family to Frisch's breakfast buffet. Never had a bad experience. Great food great service!

Traveling and starving we stopped in. Waitress was sweet. I ordered breakfast bar and my son ordered a country fried steak with sweet potato fries. The breakfast bar had not been kept up at all. Crusty layers on top of everything. The sweet potato fries weren't cooked completely. My son said the country fried steak was very good though. The girl that cashed us out could use some manners. Not sure if there was a manager we didn't see anyone besides teenagers.

Three stars was actually being generous today. Our waitress was on point but the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired! Overcooked, burnt food. To many empty food slots. I waited a half an hour for cinnamon toast sticks to come out because that was one of the empty slots. Most of which those were burnt as well. We hadn't been there for awhile and the change for us was very noticeable. Will not be going back any time soon. We did complain upon paying. Our answer was that yes they were aware of the kitchen help and that they were "just" school kids. I'm sorry but that was not a satisfactory answer.

The restrooms could have been cleaner. I am soooooo very glad they switched back to coca cola products instead of Pepsi. They have the wonderful soft and chewy nugget ice. My daughters and I all 3 ordered the vegetable soup. It is our favorite thing on the menu and the best vegetable soup that I have ever had anywhere. Even better than homemade! I wish I had their recipe!
