Claddagh Irish Pub

This was our first visit, extremely good service and the food was fantastic. I had the Irish breakfast and it was the best breakfast meal I've had in both Plainfield and Indianapolis. Won't hesitate to return.

This was our first time here; we will probably be back. I got the goat cheese salad; it was so so good, perfectly balanced. I also tried That Blue Drink- good, but a little sweeter than I'd have even guessed. The clam chowder we got was also very good, really hit the spot. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was helpful. The tables are all wobbly though.

The atmosphere is unique, but is also the reason that it only gets 3 stars from me. I find it to be a bit of a maze to get around the restaurant, which proves even more difficult after a few of their reasonably priced drinks. That being said, the food is great. Traditional Irish fare. I have tried several menu items, but always come back to the fish and chips. Flaky breading on the fish, and the portion size is exactly what I would expect. The Guinness stew and sheppards pie are other favorites of mine. Appetizers are always great, but I think the best I have ever had were the potato boxtys. I think they were a limited menu item, but if you happen to see them, i highly recommend them. The drinks are always cold, and my service has always been top notch.

You really can't beat the Sheppard's Pie. It's one the most tasty meals on the menu. My wife had the fish & chips... (My personal second favorite). We love the staff and the ambiance of the pub.

Bone-in pork chop, potato cake, with a mushroom-brandy sauce that must be amazing with ANYTHING!! Finished off with an after dinner cocktail... a Chocolate Scott. Perfect way to end such a delicious dinner! Little warm dessert for a cold winters night.
I sincerely apologize for not getting a pic of the entree - but you'll just have to go find out for yourself!!!
