Thai Orchid At Plainfield

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Indy area. This is our go to place in Plainfield for lunch and it is always busy there. Good menu selection and reasonably priced. Excellent customer service!

I wont throw out 5 stars for very many people, but this place deserves it. My wife and I frequent Thai Orchid and are always pleased with the service, as well as the quality of food. The green curry is always hot, and the portion is perfect. The Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, and spicy basil fried rice are all among our favorite dishes. The big issue I normally have with Thai restaurants is the "choose your spice level" that usually accompanies them. I have found Thai Orchid to be consistent with their spice levels. This is a great place to go for a family dinner, and enjoy great food, service, and atmosphere.

Great Thai food with a small and cozy atmosphere. I love pad kra prow and this was up there with any other Thai place. Will definitely be back.

I ordered to go; wish I would of stayed to eat - it may have been better. The wait wasn't too bad, but the spring rolls were super huge (too big) and lacked flavor. My eggplant dish was fabulous though and enjoyed it! Not the best Thai food out there, but it's good. A bit pricey in my opinion. Location is good if you're out shopping and need a bite.

Food was pretty good. My only complaint was in my party of 4 when the waitress showed up we explained how we wanted the check split up. She acknowledged this and asked for our order. When the first person in our group ordered his appetizer the waitress walked away. We were absolutely not done ordering yet and she did not clarify with us if that was all we wanted for appetizers. About 10 minutes later when she came back she was really confused when the rest of us started ordering the rest of our appetizers. This place is good but Thai Town on West Washington and High School is a lot better
