Sal's Famous Pizzeria Inc.

Sal's has very good food. The room is nice, and the add on is very spacious. I got in to a plate of seafood linguini. I enjoyed it. I wasn't completely happy with the service. I think our guy could've had a bit more training; he seemed uncomfortable.

The garlic roll here was awesome! I'm really not sure why they are so comparable in price to the bread sticks, because they make those things look like salty twigs in comparison. I would highly recommend getting one while visiting. The rest of the food was also pretty good too, but those garlic rolls could make me feel like I was in heaven.

It's average Italian food I would go as far as saying authentic I think their best dish there is the clams and spaghetti what's the red sauce they actually cut the sauce with the clams other than that the marinara sauce you've a lot of work to it that's my opinion the pizza sometime it is doughy could be cook a little longer the one in Plainfield has a brick oven but they only do small pizzas if they would do a large pizza in the oven it would be better than having it in the oven my opinion they need to try something different could possibly be better maybe you could make a five-star one day

Met people for a late lunch. There wasn't a server, you ordered your food at the counter. Not a problem, just the first time I had encountered it there. The food was served quickly and it was hit and fresh. Great marinara sauce! We had time to sit and talk, weren't at all hurried. Nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
