Portillo's Hot Dogs

Portillo's in Avon was quite speedy when they first opened but have slowed in the past few months. The food quality has remained good. Seating options have been limited by management decisions to close off a separate dining area and use it only for staff.

The best Italian beef sandwich I have ever had. My daughter got the chicken parm and loved it. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for some great Chicago style food. Cant wait to go back and try one of the hot dogs

Very tasty. Got Italian beef and onion rings, also chicken soup and pomegranate berry smoothie, and we split the chocolate cake - about $20. Everything was tasty. Decor was interesting. Very good variety of food choices

Portillo's! Yum! Chicago dogs, Italian beef, ribs, chocolate cake shake. So much goodness. Good food, fast, and clean. I love this place. The cons, it's a bit expensive for a hot dog to be honest. Also, any fundraiser they say they are having, they cheat the charity. My kids grade school was supposed to get 20% of purchases for two hours one day. The place was packed. When we checked our receipt, the fundraiser was not on there, even though we mentioned it several times at the register. Since we knew many of the others from the school, we asked them to check their receipts. Not o e of them had the fundraiser on it. Total scam. The food is awesome, but they are also a corporate cheat.
There is a virtual reality arcade practically next door that did the same fundraiser for an entire day and they showed receipts to the school. The Virtual Galaxy is a family owned and honest place.
