Flying J Travel Center

We made a straight drive from Arizona to Pennsylvania in 2.5 days. We stopped at a Flying J almost Everytime. Just got comfortable with them and they were consistent with the store selection. Clean restrooms. Well lit parking lot when dark, and friendly staff.

Gas, Denny's and 5 star for the Cinnabon sold here. Good selection of hot food items....pizza at 10am, fried chicken. It's a truck stop so they have all the extras, tools, clothing, various gear, showers, wifi, lockers. Unusually clean restrooms. Easy highway access. Friendly, efficient.

The Manager Laura is one of the top notch employees of Flying j I have encountered throughout my travels. Much love to her and her help in a very busy enviroment. I can't say enough about her willingness to stop everything and help a customer. I hope she goes far. The store's overall performance shows through her good leadership.

The bathroom wasn't that clean and the diaper changing table was covered in blood splatter. I had to make sure I disinfected everything very thoroughly. But they redeemed themselves by allowing us to have free hot water and responding promptly when they were told about the dirty bathroom and blood on the changing table. So they get 3 stars.
