“Our first time at The Country Post, We're happy that we stopped to have dinner here, The Post had this homey atmosphere. Brianna was a smiley & friendly host, that was very welcoming. My husband and I had the Haddock Fish Dinners, which we say is the Best Fish we've had here in town!, along with the Homemade fries & onions, which reminds me of grandmas home cooking, also had fried mushrooms, macaroni and pea salad... Yum. Our granddaughter had the BLT with fries and she loved how they piled the bacon on ???? Thank you for a Wonderful Dinner this evening. We will back again.”

“Go for the tenderloins and pie. And a milkshake if you like them. Hand scooped real ice cream, none of that fake stuff. Fantastic pies. Tenderloins huge AND delicious. Crispy cracker light breading outside, moist and tender in. Anything else is just average diner food. Service is generally good, although there is usually only one waitress and she can get run pretty ragged. Fun historical pictures on the walls. This is an institution in Huntington after all. Seating and tables are nothing to get excited about. Noise level can be a bit high if the place is busy. Hard to carry on a conversation. Over all, though, you don't want to miss a trip to Nick's if you are passing through town.”

“Normally we love Jimmy pops pizza, we got it plenty of times, and even for work have had their enormous pizzas, but this time we did an order for pickup, when we got there, had to wait at the bar, the guy behind the bar was in his world, the girl that was replacing him was nice and apologized for the wait. When we got home, pizza was nice but the cheese looked weird and taste wasn't too far behind it. Definitely abnormal from the service we got before.. but hope it was an off night for the crew making the pizzas.. we will order back and try again.”
