Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Visited here on a pit stop while making a long drive and it was just what I needed! Great service, amazing food, and pretty much immediately got seated!! The little shop is also so cute

Service here is usually spot on zero complaints. But this most recent time was a disaster. My friend who I went with is a picky eater and so she only orders 2 things when we go lots of biscuits and burnt bacon. It took 40 minutes to get our food and when it did come my chicken fried chicken and carrots we're cold and my friend's bacon was almost raw. We sent it back and I got mine back obviously microwaved which wasn't ideal but was fine. It then took 20 more minutes to receive my friend's bacon again and had to be brought to us by the manager and a large apology. After this we were just happy to be able to eat and tucked in. About 3 minutes later we both finished our drinks and we're waiting for refills. The manager and our waitress came by 2 more times each and our drinks were never touched. Finally we decided we were done waiting patiently and would ask next time she came by. Another 5 minutes go by and no sign of her so we ask a bus boy walking by to find her for us. 5 more minutes later she comes back with our refills in hand. Like I said usually I love it here but that day was rough and I understand everyone has off days but it was really off. I will still continue to go back for great food just hoping for a better experience next time.
