“The barista's special was awesome! My husband loved his London Fog tea, and our friend wished she had ordered a large drink because hers was so good. There's a very welcoming and laid-back feel like a family room at home. The quiche was really good. The bagel tasted like it may have come from ALDI'S, and the butter looked old. The outside of the butter was a different color than the inside, and it tasted off. The cream cheese was whipped and tasted good.”

“Walked into this unassuming pizza joint to try them out. I am very impressed with the courteous and personable staff. Waited no more than 20 minutes for my pizza and cheesy bread and took it home to eat it. The pizza was still hot when I made it home and I was very impressed with the flavor and amount of toppings. There are many pizza joints in Madison, but Rivertown Pizza is at the top of the list. highly recommended. BTW, I ordered the XL Supreme pizza.”

“Not bad, about average for what we had. Breadsticks were good but should have been cooked longer, very doughy and one was not done at all. The ones that we did eat was very good though. Pizza was good and a small is pretty big. I took half home because I could not eat it all. Lots of cheese on them which I don't mind. Grilled chicken was good, asparagus was ok, not bad. Price was good, around $40 for two of us. Service was good. It did take a little while for the food but nothing major. Worth a stop. We will try it again.”

Prices are above average, however it is the only actual dining in Madison available so they are able to take advantage of the demand opportunity. The atmosphere and decor is family friendly. “Visiting Madison for the weekend and had dinner Saturday night at Shooters. I would not classify this as a bar. It is a family restaurant with a small bar. However we did sit in the bar as we always do and had great service. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable and made us great drinks. The food service was timely and we both liked what we ordered. It is a nice locally owned restaurant with good service and food.”
