Oaken Barrel Brewing Company

We love Oaken Barrel. The beers and food are great. My go to beer is the Indiana Amber, but I also like most of their seasonal rotations as well.

The Oaken Barrell has great food and beer. The service is always good as most of the servers have been around for years. There are two bar areas and family seating, but it gets pretty busy on weekend evenings.

I have been coming here way too long. I believe it is Indiana's second oldest micro-brewery. But I could be wrong. They have just updated the exterior and will hopefully do the same to the inside once summer shows up. Great for kids and their IPA is a classic and still wins some blind taste tests. They don't have a huge beer menu, but what they have is good. They have a good rotation of seasonal and many breweries and brewers got their start here. When it is nice out they have out door seating in the back and their is a new patio/bier garten in the front.

Food is always good and it can get busy which validates the quality. Great service. Have specials in addition to their usual menu items. Good prices. Highly recommend.

The waitress was amazing. She juggled quite a few tables and maintained composure perfectly on a very busy night. My wife didn't care for the Chardonnay and did not care for it. The chicken wings were so tender and juicy. Cooked and sauced perfectly.
