(January 28, 2019, 6:46 pm)I had my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower at the Sassafras Tea Room. It was absolutely wonderful! They took care of everything. The room was cozy and not too big. It made the atmosphere very personal. I will certainly recommend this Tea Room to my friends. I'll even be back for lunch sometime. My only complaint is the cup of chicken velvet soup is too small. : )

(December 22, 2018, 8:42 pm)The service was excellent. Janet did a great job taking care of us. I had the crab quiche. It was excellently done. The scones were a bit spongy, but not bad. Just not dry and flaky like a typical scone. The salad was fresh. I highly recommend the cinnamon orange tea. The flavors are perfect while not being overpowering. Remember you're paying for the experience, not the portion size, when you go. Take a friend and make a really fun memory.
