“This is absolutely the best Mexican restaurant within hours of Lagrange, and it’s the best one I’ve ever been too! Very clean, cheap food, and large portions! Hector the owner will come out from cooking and take the time to thank people for coming, his wife Joy waits on tables and is always all about perfect customer service and the staff is great. Would recommend to absolutely anyone!”

“Absolutely the best pizza I have had in a long time! The person who makes their dough knows what they are doing. We ordered the mozzarella bread and the chicken bacon pizza, both were amazing! Will be returning for more in the future. Definitely a hidden gem in Lagrange!”

“Want a day full of fun and market shopping, you must go to Shipshewana Flea Market! It has hundreds of great booths. This is not just antiques, but many booths with jewlery, clothes, outdoor decor, and many other items. I love to go on a one day vacation there with my friends. It's one of the highlights of my summer. Your going to have a great time!”

“We had Linder's do our wedding rehearsal dinner for around 30 people. Delicious! The brisket was especially outstanding. They were prompt with communication, easy to work with, and punctual with getting food ready. No regrets in choosing this location for our very special meal. Thanks so much Adrianne and Josh!”

“I was surprised by the short menu, from the description of the friends who recommended it, I thought it would have a 20 page monster. But, I'd rather go somewhere that has limited choice as long as every item is of excellent quality. Obviously, my visit today for lunch gave me only one point of reference, but I will say the garlic butter chicken I had was about 4 levels above excellent. The menu description sounded great, but that written piece was only a shadow of the reality. It was superb plus. This is one of those cases where I've found a dish I like and will be tempted never to try anything else there and just keep re-ordering that one. But I understand that other stuff may be as good or better, so next visit I will venture into the unknown, and will try the honey chicken from my friends' recommendations. The prices were slightly higher than I generally spend for lunch, but I can't say it was wasted money since the quality was right up there near the top. I've had better meals but I've paid a LOT more for them. On a cost/benefit analysis (I worked for a career in accounting!), this was perhaps in the top 3 of my historical meals. Another great point is that you got enough, it wasn't one of those pansy places where you pay $15 per bite for a microscopic serving. About half-way through, I thought about stopping and taking it home for later, but I could not stop eating due to the outstanding taste profile. It's about a 15 mile drive from my home, but even with the high price of gas, the drive is well worth it. Go! You will not be disappointed :)”

“It's a good place if you haven't had a burger from one of its predecessors. Burgers could use something to hold it together, it wasn't a bad burger, but it wouldn't hold a candle to the coppertop's burgers. Loaded fries were okay, the cheese didn't taste quite right, more like processed nacho cheese than real cheese, too much chives, not enough bacon or cheese. Took a minute to tell who's food was which because the waitress didn't explain the order well, which I guess is fine in the first week, hopefully it gets better. I liked the menu layout though. Fries had a good texture, but they tasted really sweet, which some people like, but not me. Took a bit to get our food after we ordered, maybe 20 minutes, but it was expected on such a busy Friday. Overall great atmosphere though, wish people would be quieter though, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The place looked great, but that isn't how you should judge a restaurant.”

“This Amish owned in home dining experience is a great way to learn more about the local Amish culture. The owner cooks amazing full threshers meals with fried chicken, noodles, mashed potatoes, followed by ice cream and coffee and conversation with the her as she shares some about their Amish lifestyle. You must call ahead as reservations are required and groups as small as 4 and larger are able to be accommodated. Truly a one of a kind meal experience in Shipshewana. They also do haystack lunches so ask about all the options for your food selections when you call to reserve ahead.”
