The bar maid was very helpful with the different microbrews available. Tried a flight of 5 kinds and found a couple to my liking. They also have home made root beer whci was darn good. Nice selection of appetizers and burgers. Over all a nice atmoshpere.
Great porters and stout. Cuban sandwich was delish. Overall great food and great beer. Super friendly environment and staff.
First time there, went for fundraising event. Had a great evening. Food, staff, were great, beers were very very good???? will be back.
Decent food and decent beers. Staff was nice and attentive. Busy after 7 on Friday. Can sit inside or outside. Fun but loud inside because of band and difficult to socialize. Outside was fine during the band.
Very cool place to hang out. Their beers are one of a kind. They sometimes have a black ale, called Black Ink, that I really can’t compare to any other brew I’ve tried. Smooth with floral scents. Mad Cow is the only coconut-milk stout I’ve ever come across, and it’s delicious.
The staff is welcoming and the owner is really friendly and attentive. Granted, there are times the service is slow if you’re seated at a table, but that’s only during busy hours.
The food is satisfying, but my hands-down favorite menu item is the Cuban sandwich. There aren’t many places to order a Cuban in Northwest Indiana, and there are fewer that serve a great one. Wildrose’s Cuban is fantastic. Wonderful flavor, a little crispy on the bread though, but certainly a winner.
If you’re passing through Griffith, it’ll be worth your time to stop in.
