“I am always giving compliments to any restaurant establishment based on food, price and employees, (service). I tried the Gowdys Seafood in LaVergne, TN,(New). The service, food and quantity were amazing. The prices for what you are getting is questionable. Fish and fries. A piece of bread. You could get a decent amount of fish, fries, plus hush puppies, cole slaw, a beverage at a nearby, neighboring seafood restaurant for about the same price. If not more food, less expensive. Gowdys serving of a slaw and a piece of bread with fish and fries are a bit short of a valuable serving and cost are a little bit over priced.”

“Has a quaint atmosphere. Was not crowded for a Thursday. I enjoyed the buffet: 3 types of chicken, shrimp that had a sweet and spicy sauce, pasta in marinara sauce, chili, mini salad bar with pasta salad and bread sticks, 4 types of pizzas, and apple dessert pizza. You get a warm chocolate chip with your receipt. Service was good and buffet was kept full. I will come again!”

“I was very surprised that when I went in to pick up my order I had to wait for a few minutes. While waiting I noticed that the hostess was taking phones away from the wait staff. I was curious and asked why she was taking away the phones. She relayed to me that the restaurant has a no tolerance policy about the use of phones while working. Most places you go to now a days the staff is always on the cell phones, and when you ask a question from the clerk's they seem annoyed because their phones are more important than helping the customers. A great policy for all service providers. Way to go Jedi's, you have definitely set a high standard for all to follow. I am extremely impressed. Keep up the great work.”
