Lucy's BBQ

My husband is from Texas and this is the closest to texas bbq we have found without being in texas. Food was amazing and customer service was just as great.

We went Sunday at opening. It seems they were a little behind getting everything going, but they were so attentive and concerned that the experience went well. We weren't in a rush, ordered food and sat in the bar. They gave us our first round on them, which was not necessary, but always appreciated. The beer is really reasonably priced. The brisket was our favorite. Loved the staff, so approachable and just human. They were out of sausage, so that means another trip, which we don't mind. I'm sure as time goes on, things will get easier and easier for opening and figuring out how much to smoke. We had a good time and were happy with the food. The attention to the customer was the most notable.

Delicious food, great portions and great prices. Very fast service. Been here a handful of times since it opened and it’s been great every single time.

Tender brisket, unique smoked cheeseburgers, and flavorful sausage and ribs. Sides are on point.

A very welcome addition to Lowell for sure.

Worth the trip down to Lowell! My husband had the cheeseburger, which was a smoked brisket burger, yum! I had the brisket sandwich along with sides of elote and mac n cheese. Everything was so delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I are going to be in trouble with Lucy's BBQ right around the corner because OH MY GOSH! When I tell yall this is some of the best, if not, THE best bbq we have ever had!!

We wanted to try as much as possible so we opted for a brisket sandwich, smoked cheeseburger, 1/2lb jalapeño cheddar sausage, and 3 small sides: potato salad, mac n cheese, and elote. We wanted to try the frito pie as well, but after being only open for a little over 24hr, they were sold out.

The sandwiches came on delicious buns with pickles and onions. The burger had a sauce on it as well. The brisket was the best brisket we have ever had. We have been very loyal to the bbq place down the road a bit, but Lucy's will be taking all of our business now! The smoked burger was like nothing I've ever had before. I wasn't expecting to be hit with the smokey flavor, but it's there, and it's good!!! Both sandwiches were also huge!! My only critique is that I wish they had packaged the burger and brisket sandwiches separately. The cheese oozed onto the brisket, and my husband can't have cheese, so I had to take one for the team. Maybe small containers to separate sandwiches in the future.

The sides were also fantastic. The mac n cheese had great flavor and just the right amount of cheese. The elote was good, and they didn't skimp on the toppings! The potato salad, though. When I tell you I've been searching for 4 years to find a salad that tasted like one I had in the south, well, this one is it. In my opinion, it just needs hard-boiled eggs in it to put it at the best potato salad I've ever had, but I will still be ordering it every time!

Lucy's BBQ, you have outdone yourself, and we are beyond glad to have you in our neighborhood! We will see yall often!
