Stuffed Peppers that are almost as good as my mother's. I've never seen them in a restaurant before. Give them a try! Also, very good homemade chili!

Great service, nice people, good food, but old interior. Everything is still the same as 20 years ago when I used to go there every weekend with my grandparents. Other than the super old scenery, it was a pleasant experience. Oh& it's also very reasonably priced. One of the cheapest sit-down eat-in restarunts I have been to in quite some time! I recommend if your looking for a home cooked style meal at a fair price.

We've ate here several times over the last week or so while in Gary on business at the university. Options around the school for sit-down restaurants are limited, so it's a bit of a drive from the work site to come and eat lunch, but it's worth it. The staff is attentive. The food is good, and you definitely get your money's worth here. A full menu offers many different options for a very good sized meal around the $6 to $8 range per person. This place is my go-to while in the Gary area.
