I must’ve drove past this place hundreds of times tonight I pulled the trigger. First off the service in here was insanely fast I had my food within 10 minutes. I got the crab Rangoon, gyoza, and the hibachi filet and chicken. The crab rangoon is THE best in Hobart are and #2 best I’ve ever had. The gyoza was really good too. The filet was melt in your mouth and with their sauce amazing. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the egg drop soup was made with love. Will definitely be coming here again. My only complaint was the pops come in cans so no refills but everything else was TOP notch.

This new authentic Asian restaurant is a gem. Gorgeous setting and extraordinarily ambience and very clean. Service was impeccable. Server was welcoming and attentive. Background music relaxing and soothing. Plenty of parking.

Food was thoughtfully prepared and very flavorful. Ordered happy family (shrimp/chicken/beef which were all very tender) and spring roll. Very delicious. Lunch specials are very reasonable with nice sized portions. As long as services, food, prices and cleanliness remains consistent, I will be a happy customer.

I know in our area we have an abundance of Asian cuisine; Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese food, and here at the new Tokyo 8 restaurant, for the atmosphere, the prices, and the food variety, it can't be a better first date night dining in, dinner with the family, or if you want to just get something to go, they have something for you here at Tokyo 8. (Name that comes up when charging)

I had a wonderful experience with my family, since they recently opened where the other Pho place was, and before that it was an Arby's. I know the building itself has changed hands quite often over the years, but this place now is a good fit. I enjoyed the time with my family here.

Pros: variety of foods and drinks to try, menu can be a bit overwhelming for the first timer, but try something you are used to, or branch out and try something you never had before, broadening your spectrum on food tastes and cultures. You won't regret it. Staff was amazing, friendly, and from many different parts of cultures, get to know them and ask.

Cons: while everyone having their own tastes, some food is subjective while in others it is objective in some cases. I can't make ice cream and call it alternative rice, so be prepared if you expect runny soup like something and it comes to you viscously thick porridge. Still flavorful and tasteful while having the spice kick it needed, but not what I expected.

I understand they are starting out, but they will soon settle in and get a grasp on things, it's only been less than a month since they have been open. I'm surely positive, if the owner is willing to put God first, He will direct their paths and make them straight. Acknowledge Him. I will be coming back as a returning customer and as a local. Thank you again for the wonderful time spent. No ragerts lol.

The restaurant is amazingly designed ! Even though i only wanted to get a to go order , it’s classy and very chill ambiance made me stay ! and i don’t regret it . Even though there was a very rude lady who argued about the menu , they kept the environment very calm , as much as they could . The food was equally amazing , I ordered the lunch special 2 rolls which were salmon and shrimp tempura . I also ordered the Lo Mein with chicken lunch special which was overall about $20 something before the tip . So very affordable based on what you get . Overall i had a very good experience. This place is close to my home and it will be my go to spot ❤️.

SO GOOD!! I was there opening day (10/18) and the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Started off with the edamame which was amazing. Then, I decided to try my old faithful, chicken and broccoli, and it was absolutely delightful. It was a sweeter sauce, the broccoli and chicken were cooked to perfection, and it was served to me in a timely manner. My best friend got the orange chicken and it was crispy with a spicy kick that was very much welcomed. We loved it very much, and the price wasn't bad.

Highly recommend. Everyone should give it a try!
