First time here atmosphere was wonderful. Wait staff was friendly although somewhat in efficient. The menu was promissing with very reasonable pricing. I ordered a draft beer that came to me warm. For lunch I ordered the emerald burger done med. Others ordered chicken mushroom soup, mini sliders and chicken marsala. The soup was tasty but too salty to eat.(shame, it would have been really good). My burger was over cooked with slightly burned bun. Still good flavor and I would order again. Mini sliders dry but OK, chicken marsala was good, but lacked color. It was an enjoble lunch but could have been fantastic with a little more attention to detail in the preperation and presintation of the food. We will return and try more on the menu that still looks promising.

This place is by far one of the best restaurants in the Hammond Indiana area! The food is always serve fresh! They must have new chefs because the food presentation is definitely five stars! I always come to eat with family and friends. We order the starter appetizers! they are the bomb! Can’t wait to come and relax outside on the balcony in the summer time overlooking lake Michigan, the golf course and downtown Chicago skyline! If you want to impress your family and friends bring them to the Emerald Green Restaurant and I promise you will not be disappointed!

The thick cut pork chops seared in butter and Rosemary was beyond delicious! Tenderer and juicy!
The fillet mignon can very depending on which chef is in the kitchen. However, I asked the Waitress Jennifer, who cooked my pork chops and steaks? she replied chef little Rich along side with Chef Suzy, who also made my wife’s day with the best shrimp Alfredo and caprese salad! Hats off to both chefs for another great experience!

Keep up the good work guys!
