As a Highland resident, I was googling for BBQ places around me, and was pleasantly surprised to see that Lucy’s was right around the corner from my house! I’ve placed a couple of takeout orders now and have loved everything I’ve ordered! The smoked burger is killer, and the sliced brisket is wonderfully smoky, juicy and seasoned very well! Both red and mustard sauces pair nicely with whatever you dip in them :-) The elote is a fantastic side option too.
I wish they were open more than Thursday-Saturday, but it’s well worth the wait!

I found this place just scrolling through Google maps for lunch. I am glad I stopped, great beer selection & food full of FLAVOR! Wow! Had 1/2lb brisket and 1/2lb jalapeño sausage it all melted in your mouth. Really cool and updated POS for beers, great selection. I am sure I will be back very very soon!

Absolutely everything we had was incredible and so divinely delicious. I truly had a difficult time finding words to describe how delicious and flavorful this food is. We tried the brisket , the pulled pork, the buffalo chicken, the Frito pie, the Mac and cheese and their banana pudding. I am not exaggerating whatsoever this is truly the best BBQ I've had in the Midwest. The bark on both the brisket and pulled pork have amazing texture and were seasoned perfectly but still allowed that wonderful smoke flavor and natural beef and pork flavor to come through. Frito pie was also really great, their house pickled onions cut through the tasty meat topping. Mac and cheese was also really great, the cheese sauce had a great consistency and was not grainy in any way as I see at a lot of other BBQ spots. If you're not up for some of the best smoked bbq you've had in your life try their SMOKED CHEESEBURGER! this wasn't something I know I needed in my life until I tried it and now there's no going back. All of their sauces that were included were truly phenomenal and I'm so glad to have tried this tonight. Do yourself a favor stop in here and grab one of everything you will not be disappointed.

Phenomenal food and a great atmosphere! I’ve had everything on the menu and the taste and quality are far more superb than the bbq competitors in NWI. Once you try it you’ll be hooked! Also, it’s located inside Brewfest which has a phenomenal selection of craft beers!

Love that you can get (GOOD!!) food IN Brewfest now. I HIGHLY recommend the brisket sandwich with that red sauce. VERY good. Also tried the Frito pie it was good but it needed something saucy or cheesy to help. Made the suggestion so I hope it's excellent next time I stop. Overall it's worth it, plus sampling beers is awesome... Now if they only had a bourbon/whisky/spirits version of you pour and taste. *Chef's kiss* PERFECTION till then this place is a hands down 4.5 out of 5 experience and you can't go wrong! Enjoy!
