Cajun House

Our waitress was wonderful & service was fast. Being a Louisiana food fan I was disappointed that the rice wasn’t whole grain, creamy Louisiana rice. It was steamed minute rice. Also, the gumbo was thin not thick. But then, our boiled bucket of shrimp, snow crab, andouille sausage, & rice showed up with mild spice (which was spicy) & all 3 sauces. It was amazing!!! We had bibs & gloves & claw crackers & utensils & a whole roll of paper towel. The seasonings were so flavorful & the seafood was cooked perfectly. It was a super fun lunch that I have never experienced in NWI. $62 for lunch was a bit shocking for me. However, skipping the gumbo and just going for the pale, it would be a little cheaper and worth it. I will definitely be back again.

Upon entering we were met with a very friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had crawfish so good before in my life. The shrimp was bursting with flavor. Prices were a steal for the high quality of the food. Very impressed. If you are a fan of seafood I highly recommend.
