Rumors Restaurant & Bar

This is a country town eatery. It's not fancy or even remotely modernized but the food is good. Everyone in our group liked what they ordered. I got the liver and onions special. It was tender but didn't really taste like liver so I was not impressed.

Fish was perfect. Almost no batter, tender, flaky, worth the trip.

Its a local restaurant with good food ,prices are good and you get a lot of food. On Friday they have a fish fry it gets crowded but fish is good. Its a old place and needs remodeled a new owner took it over so he is trying. Breakfast are great .

The food was decent and so were the portions. The service, however, was terrible. It was about an hour before closing time when we went in. The waitress brought us our food and then went behind the bar and chatted with her friend until I finally got up and asked for our bill. Halfway through our meal we both needed refills. She never asked us if we needed anything. After I requested the bill, she came over to us, glanced at our drinks then asked " how was it? Would you like a refill before you go?" I think she just spaced it out and realized afterward. We still tipped her and gave her the benefit of the doubt. I'd imagine it's not always like this. I would give it another try before forming a solid opinion.
