Great service, bartender and food recommendations! It was the warmest restaurant we have been to in weeks. I took my coat off while we were dining!
this place is nice, but prices are ridiculous. it’s a small town, should be affordable it’s not like chicago or anything. but i’ve never seen a mixed drink be $12..and to be charged $4 for the shot in my mixed drink & for the mixed drink itself. the bill didn’t even make sense. we came 2 hrs before close & we didn’t even say we were done drinking and we got our bill. just felt super rushed out, and definitely not affordable for a dive bar.
Passing through to go back home to mn and very quick, and easy. We have a camper so it is a descent size gravel off the road spot for the parking lot,it wasn't crazy busy so enough room to park. We have 2 dogs, so a little spot of grass for them to go potty. Food was good, I did ask for no tomato and still got tomato but nothing I couldn't work around. They have a descent beer selection as well, considering being a small town
My fiance and I went to the little tavern for the second time. Last week it was for their 1/2 off wing night on Wednesday and last night we got the lil tavern burger and I the Reuben. The Reuben was the best I've ever had. The meat was so tender it practically fell apart in your mouth. Paired that with and ice cold Tangerine Space Machine from New Holland Brewing. Love that the glasses are chilled. Craft beer selection was decent, and service both times was phenomenal. Seating in bar area is kinda cramped but they have a nice deck outback for dining as well. I play darts and they have one board but haven't thrown there yet. This might just become our "New Spot". We'll definitely be returning.
I am exceptionally pleased. I'm not from this area, I was just passing through. I definitely recommend stopping by. Food is excellent, drinks are great, I really enjoyed my bloody mary. I ordered the Cheese Steak, and I'm impressed with the quality of the meat. The establishment is in great condition overall. All staff members were kind, and friendly. This is definitely a nice "little tavern" with hometown vibes. I will be back for sure.
