“We decided to try Ricardo's based on wanting to have a pizza and sandwich that wasn't from a chain and something local. The reviews for Ricardo's were pretty good, so we thought we'd start with a sandwich. We both had the Italiano. The sandwich was very good. The smell once you enter the establishment was delightful. We had a nice conversation with the owner while waiting for our order. She was extremely friendly. We can't wait to go back and order a pizza this time.”

“Honest review. Food portions were very large. I had a small issue and Amy fixed it immediately, she was very nice. All and all, we'd go back. If I had one complaint, add more cheese to the mac n cheese. Everything else was good. The cheddar biscuits are BETTER than Red Lobster. The cole slaw and baked beans are delicious. Yummy!!! Side note, it was very quick. I didn't think it took long at all. And the restaurant was full up to the back.”

“Zorn is a nice local brewery. It was an easy walk from downtown Michigan City IN where we were staying. Tried the After Two IPA, Red Devil red, and the Brownie PointZ brown - all were respectable. The pizza was excellent. We ordered The Bold 14" for two men and we had to take 30% home. Also ordered The Mac and Cheese to-go - very good. We sat at the bar and Jake took good care of us.”

“This right here is an absolute gem! From the moment that we walked in, we were greeted with some of the best service, atmosphere, and home cooking around. The service was phenomenal. They make you feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish. They're attentive and accommodating. The food was out of this world. The Mac rolls were a sort of sweet and savory concoction that make your taste buds sing! Something about an eggroll filled with Mac and cheese then covered in sweet saucy yams just works. We took a look at the body (second floor) 21 and up with a view of the lake indoors and a third floor. Rooftop. It wasn't open but in the summer I can see how amazing that will be. “Every place you rent isn't perfect. But the rooms should be good and clean. The person that works there does her job. But if you plan on staying at least a week. Please request maid service. The rooms need to be cleaned. But leave your personal stuff off the beds. The housekeeper can make your bed. They are not allowed to move it. Leave it out of the way so they can sweep around it too. And tips would be great. It's optional. But when I worked there, might go back, I loved to see tips. It made me smile cause the room was clean and if you stayed more the 3 days and took care of you. It made me smile. Thank you.”

“Hudson Lake Tavern is a great place to stop in and have an awesome smash burger and mingle with the locals, For some reason it makes me think of the Regal Beagle pub lol. “Food was great. Customer service needs a little bit of work but the place is relatively new so I suspect maybe the work that out in the future. I would also like to see them cut down on the traffic going in and out of that I don't want to call it a side door because it's in the front but it's clearly not intended to be the main entrance and we had people going in and out of it the whole time just blasting us with cold air every time they open the door. But over all it was pretty good.”

“Taco John’s is located in the brand new Love’s at 421 and W 300 N right across from Bosak Chevrolet and adjacent to Harley-Davidson. I ordered three crispy tacos with ground beef and a medium potato oles with nacho cheese sauce. The tacos were filled with meat unlike Taco Bell and the shell was fresh and crispy, had a good flavor to the ground beef as well! The potatoes were seasoned and were crispy and hot, and paired perfectly with the nacho cheese sauce. The lady at the window was very nice; the receipt said her name was Grace, and the gentleman I spoke with was also very nice and courteous. Honestly, so much better than the local Taco Bell, which I have heard people will drive all the way to La Porte instead of eating at that store. My first Taco John’s experience was fantastic and I’m looking forward to my next visit!”

“Great food, great atmosphere, great amenities, very friendly staff. The only issue and it's understandable is the wait time. It does take a bit longer to receive your food and drink. However, I would still recommend Evvys over starbucks or Dunkin anyday of the week. I love how it feels like your sitting at your home while still being out!”
