Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

This was my first visit to Perkins in more than 20 years. The blueberry banana pancakes were awesome. They also have an apple cinnamon muffin that's scrumptious.

Ate there yesterday. Both of us were very pleased with our food. We had Ashley as a server and we felt she was outstanding. In fact, we have never had a bad server. They all seem to like their jobs and they have been there for a long time. I had hot chocolate and Ashley went out of her way in her presentation.

The tall gentleman out front was exceedingly courteous and professional in dealing with the patrons. Our waitress, Ashley, was also incredibly nice, and extremely helpful. Those folks are the kind of folks that make me proud to be a Hoosier. Please give them both a raise.

Prices are a bit high. The menu is fairly pedestrian. I was with a group having a yearly gathering. This was the 3rd time going to the event. I have only been there 1 other time. Not as much to my liking, but other people like it. It is a fairly relaxed atmosphere. Good setting for families. No drama was encountered or bad language.

The food was excellent! The wait staff was friendly and quick! The manager was also friendly and helpful. It was our first time there and she helped us with our lunch choices, which were great! We were just passing through town but will look forward to stopping back again when we are in the area. 5 stars!
