Breadsticks are the best.

Pizza King is my favorite pizza. So this is a review of this particular location. Pizza King itself would be 5 stars (or 10). This place is hit or miss. If they are busy they get behind on the orders and we've waited over an hour for pizzas before. And several times they've messed up our order. Also seem to be a bit skimpy on toppings. It's a given that you have to order your pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce. But it's still nice to have them in town.

I grew up with Pizza King and the Lapel King didn’t completely disappoint. The pizza was great, but the breadsticks were not the robust, full PK sticks that I am used to. I have visited six PK locations over the years and the Lapel location is by far the most expensive. I don’t think it is even close. I ordered a large cheese, large pepperoni, large sausage pepperoni, and two orders of breadsticks. The bill came to just under $97.00. I only called for carry out, so I cannot comment on the restaurant service. I would go back, but not as frequent as I would like because of the price.

I haven't had pizza that good in 28 yrs my mom was store manager at the pizza king on Broadway in Anderson for 11 yrs I lost my love for pizza king after she left and it went down hill from there until tonight of all the stores I've been too so far lapels pizza is edge to edge goodness the breadsticks were just right the pizza tasted like it's supposed to only complaint was it needed a little more cheese even the buffalo chip cookie was delicious even though the prices are outrageous the service was good and the environment was amazing will definitely be worth the drive
