Granite City Food & Brewery

Food was pretty good, service was not great. Took roughly 3 minutes to get a refill, wasn't even crowded at all. Don't think I'll go back.

Was eating with a friend and the waitress notified us that one of our meals had been made wrong and it would take extra time to correct. She was very courteous and apologized, and offered complementary soup or salad for both of us while we waited. And the final meal was delicious.

Overall we had a good dinner here. The regular menu seems a little over priced but we went in for the Valentines Day Dinner Special (2 can eat for $45). Appetizers were great and our entrees were good. I do wish that the server was a little friendlier. She just seemed annoyed to be working and was kind of sassy with her responses to us. Also the hostess on the mall side was very rude. I came in a different door and asked if there was a street entrance. She answered me very rudely and didn’t even help me navigate to where my party was waiting for me. It also struck me as odd that the place was empty on Valentines Day. I think the bad service may play into this. I would go back if there was another inexpensive promotion and hope I have a better employee interaction.
