Great new place. Kind of has a hipster vibe. All brews are local and hard liquor is nothing I've seen before. Food is delicious but a little over priced for bar fare. They play VHS tapes behind the bar which is a nice little nugget too.
If there were six stars, Mayfair Taproom would get them all. The limited menu may look pedestrian but every item delights and the daily specials make any meal sparkle. The curry pickled eggs were a tart way to start the meal, the Turkish Lamb soup warmed and stirred every tastebud, and finally a Grilled Goat Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Jam on Sourdough was the most balanced sandwich I have ever eaten. Round out the meal with perfectly timed service and a local selection of beers that are mixed with imports I can guarantee you haven't heard of before, and you have an experience that I will drive out of downtown for any day. Good work.
Great new neighborhood place to gather and eat and have drinks together. Lunch or dinner is nice. The menu is always the same. The burger is good. Pleasant staff and customer service always great too. We've never had to wait but I've seen people have to wait while we there during dinner rush.
Damn good burger! Fries looked amazing, but I went with a side salad. Great service from the bartender. Nice selection of local beers on tap and family friendly on one side of the restaurant. This is a really nice addition to the near East side.
