Duke’s Indy

Having just driven all the way from just outside of chicago, we were starving.....and of course we got misguided off of the highway to our final destination. We assembled upon Dukes and I did a quick review search. They have excellent food and the cutest decor! We had our 2 children with us and were able to get seated right along the window. Next trip to Indy we are making another trip!

The fried Chicken and Mac n cheese we're very good. We went looking for a bar burger and this was a pleasant surprise. Very limited menu on Saturday and they don't open until 5pm.

While off the beaten path, Duke's is well worth a visit. Whether you're a honky tonk fan, or love you some fried chicken with trimmings, the place does not disappoint. Drinks are reasonably priced and pours are generous.

Excellent food, haven't found anything on thw menu yet that I don't like. I've been in several times and am working my way through the menu, slowly but surely. They often have live music at lunch time and when they don't they play country western music.
The staff is very friendly and efficient. I consider this my go to for a quick lunch while working here in Indy.

This place has really cleaned up and looks like it would be a great watering hole if you’re looking to get out! I hear the fried chicken and Mac-N-Cheese are some of the best around, unfortunately the fried chicken was not available during lunch. I did try a fried chicken sandwich and found the breading to be to salty, the chicken had a strange texture and the aoli or sauce they used overpowered the sandwich. The bun was one point and the tatter tots were great. The service was fast and friendly too! All in all, I’d try this place again but for the money I spent I expect a better chicken sandwich.
