Axum Ethiopian Restaurant

Delicious! I went at lunchtime and it wasn’t too busy. Service was great, and there’s so much that I want to go back and try. I basically inhaled this entire platter, and it was delicious. The beef was good, but next time I want to try more of the vegan lentil options. Strongly recommend!

Amazingly delicious, fresh food! Axum has something for everyone. We had the vegan combination plate, which was truly fabulous. They also have plenty of meat options too. We will be frequent fliers here. Notably, the service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

This place is well worth the trip (I drove 2 hours to visit this place). I went over lunch, found free parking on the side street, and there were just a few other patrons at the time. The food was "fabulous"!! I love Ethiopian, but the combination choices are often made for two. Axum has a combination choice that is for 1 person!! I'd readily give it a 10 if I could. My favorite was the spicy chicken. Love this place and will definitely be back.

My wife and I went to this restaurant on a Friday night and being away from Mass Ave, it was not busy at all. The service was quick, although the wait staff can try to help first timers a bit more in selecting dishes. I liked the honey wine which is neither sweet, nor dry, but is smooth to drink. The food came out quickly and was pretty good. The quantity is more than sufficient to take home leftovers. We would definitely be back.
