Hinata Japanese Fine Dining

One of the most memorable & exquisite kaiseki dinners I've ever eaten....that includes 2-3 Michelin starred kaiseki in Japan. The sommelier was young, passionate, knowledgeable, & the food/pairings were perfect. Pleasantly surprised & thoroughly pleased with everything about this restaurant.

This was an experience I feel so fortunate to have had. It felt like the chef put their passion into the dishes. Each item was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Service was exceptional. A hidden gem I never expected to find. Consider me impressed! I wish this place was in my home town!

Where to start! This is definitely a place where you need to make a reservation. When you make your reservation you are asked which prefixed multi course menu you would like to experience. All three are at varying price points starting as low as $69 and going up to $120 per person. We were going to celebrate my friends birthday so we did the $120 menu option and boy did it live up to every expectation and more! Honestly the other options are good if you are trying to budget but the $120 menu is really the way to go if you want the full experience. We also added the drink parings which was everything from bubbles, to sake, to wine and even a traditional Japanese style beer in a frosted mug. What is so cool too is that their menu changes every month so what we had last time will be totally different the next time we go.

Wow! This is for sure THE best Japanese restaurant in Indiana. And definitely one of the best fine dining restaurants across the entire Midwest. Each dish is so exquisite, refined, and carefully crafted and presented. A perfect balance among various flavors, making each dish an absolute piece of art. The service is also impeccable. This place is truly worth a visit if you live anywhere in Indiana.
