INCREDIBLE new spot in Indianapolis! This place has everything South Meridian was missing: a speakeasy, duckpin bowling, SEVEN separate bars, a rooftop venue overlooking all of Meridian Street and Monument Circle, a green room, a “man cave,” a library, and so much more. A nice man named Josh greeted us at the door and took us for a private tour of the entire 35,000+ square foot venture. Our bartender, Sam, made us the best cocktail I’ve had in a minute: The Raven. This place is obviously influenced by the great Edgar Allen Poe, hence the name. Will absolutely be back and I feel strongly this will be a staple of Indianapolis nightlife and downtown event venues for years to come. Wish I could give 6 stars!
I came here with my partner who has limited mobility. At first, we had some trouble finding the ramp, but the staff was so kind in helping us to enter, and then went above and beyond by giving us a tour of the labyrinthine complex. Each room is filled with intricacies and has a unique theme! We ended up sitting in a big dining hall with tables like that out of Hogwarts. The food was delicious, and the decor was magnificent. Afterwards, we played chess in one of the quieter rooms before heading out. There is a lot to do here, and the staff is very friendly!
I visited July 1 during the soft opening. The poutine is divine. The pork belly melts in your mouth. The cocktails are exquisite and appropriately named to fit the Edgar Allen Poe theme. Candy was our exemplary server. She took the time to give me and my companion a tour of the expansive premises and was absolutely top notch! I am excited to come back and experience it again.
This place is amazing! Huge space - perfect for kids with games and duck pin bowling but amazing for adults with themed rooms, hidden doorway and roof top bar. The coffee shop is amazing and the staff are so welcoming. Go to this hidden gem before it’s packed and make it your new favorite place! Plus it’s Poe themed so literary fans will love it.
Checked this place out on opening day with a few friends. Love seeing something so unique in this space. The decor is really cool with lots of interesting details in line with the Edgar Allen Poe theme. Definitely a place to get lost in with room after room to explore, each with a different vibe. The events director came by and introduced himself and mentioned that they have spaces for events like corporate events and bridal showers.
The food itself was delicious, I dug into the salmon before taking a pic. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the rice/ veggies were a great accompaniment.
Kiki was a great server as well, very attentive.
I heard something about a speakeasy here but I’ll have to look for it next time.
Overall a great first impression and look forward to coming back.
