Old Gold Barbecue

I LOVE this place! Whenever I go to Metazoa I always make sure to come hungry because this place has the best bbq. I lived in North Carolina for 12 years and they are known for some good bbq but nothing beats this place. I typically don’t eat at food trucks but I cannot get enough of this place. I always order the two meat plate because it comes with two sides (I always get a double order for Mac n cheese). Come check this place out! Bring your dog, grab a beer and enjoy some great conversations and food!

I tried the brisket, turkey, pulled pork, and ribs. Also had a side of street corn and Mac and cheese. Loved, loved, loved the brisket and turkey. Hands down my favorite with tons of smoke and seasoning. Ribs and pulled pork on similar level as Famous Dave's and City BBQ. Great staff and definitely going back for brisket and turkey.

A group of us got a big platter that included a little of everything. The staff was friendly and I think gave us a little extra food. It was reasonably priced and portions were big. You can eat on the patio or inside the Metazoa Brewery which is right there. I’ll be back!

This place is awesome. Saw Sherman on Fox 59 reviewing this place and I went and bought for our department, well we fell in love. Best bbq around by far.

Incredible brisket and sides. Great outdoor seating at the brewery onsite. Highly recommended, real Texas BBQ in Indiana!
