This place is the definition of a hidden gem! The location is nondescript and you might not know if you’re walking into the right place at first — but you’ll get greeted with warmth and enthusiasm and in our case, some free samples! They are so passionate about their cause and they provide such an awesome personal touch. And the food — unparalleled. My omnivore friend raved about her bahn mi. They’re bringing something special to the table here. We will be back soon and often! PS, sorry we meant to get some pictures of our food but we devoured it all on sight!

I had a Vshrimp po boy on a gluten free bun! The flavors were well tied together and I cannot wait to come back and try again!

Had the crab cake tacos!!!! Amazing. I would have never know they were plant based. The homemade pickled onions with the sauces and fresh cilantro top it off.
Try the hot apple cider, you won’t regret it!!! Especially on a cold winter day! You can feel the love these owners put into their food!
Side note: All there to go containers are compostable as well!!! ♻️

I’ve never been much of a plant based guy, but everything I have tried at Plantastic Indy has been very good and I really couldn’t tell the difference. I was very impressed with the food I had and especially enjoyed the crab cakes and parmesan garlic fries. I’m looking forward to having it again the next time I downtown and highly recommend it.

First I tried the crab cake tacos - MY NEW FAVORITE. I also got the parmesan garlic fries and they were so good I got them again the next day with the Bombay Bhaji burger.
I got the chance to meet the owners and they are local Indy people with a passion for making vegan food accessible in our town with a focus on sustainability and quality. Quick delivery and environmentally friendly packaging too. Seriously a 10/10 and a must try!
