Caplinger's Fresh Catch

Great place. Their food is great and has a little spice to it which I love. If you can call ahead you may want to do so because it will make your wait time just a little shorter.

Had the grilled salmon entree w/ corn dusted in Old Bay, candied yams, and a side of lemon + remoulade. They also tossed in 2 hush puppies. Absolutely to die for. Will definitely be back!

I'm from northern Indiana so in my opinion the fried fish here in the Indianapolis area is disgusting. The grease always is heavy on the fish and the taste is as if the oil hasn't been changed in at least three months but since I discovered Caplinger it is the only place that I get my fried fish from at least twice a month. I do not love any of their sides. But I can tolerate potato chip coin style potatoes. They definitely need to step their side game up but the flavor of the fish is spot-on and it is fried to perfection.

The hype is real. This place was delicious. There was a line (because the place is so good), but we got served quickly. The fried shrimp was impressive.
